Construction of the main organ at Saint Remi de Reims (III/P 46 jeux) was completed in 2000. This instrument exemplifies the depth of experience our workshop has acquired through numerous restorations carried out on French 16th, 17th and 18th century instruments.
Inspired by early 17th century French polyphonic organs, its acoustic range enables the playing of a varied musical repertoire — classical, romantic and contemporary.
The case was designed in collaboration with Jean-Luc Giraud, architect, and installed in a bird's nest near the transept crossing.
